This is an original 1949 Mercury Ash Tray. This original ash tray was recently acquired from the estate of an elderly collector. This ash tray was tagged as having been removed from a '49 Mercury Coupe over 25 years ago. Ash tray is straight and solid, with chrome die-cast face. Face(or handle) is shiney, but has some pits(see pics). Ash tray would still be good for a driver, or face could probably be rechromed.
