This is a complete original David Brown 4 Speed gearbox from a DB4 Aston Martin. The serial number is S432/4/1046. There is no apparent damage. Looking at all the gears with a flashlight we see no chips or damage to any of the teeth either on the mainshaft or layshaft. It shifts easily through all the gears including reverse.
