This transmission was removed from a 1971 Datsun 510 wagon equipped with a 4-cylinder engine. The company who rebuilt this unit called it a "Nissan 720 long tail transmission", suggesting this was removed from an early '80s Nissan 720 pickup truck and installed in the 510 Wagon at some point.
