Early Lotus Cortina Elan Twin Cam short block which is almost a long block. The original Lotus Twin Cam engines can be identified by the lack of engine number on the side. This was Lotus' practice before the later blocks were given the "L" designation. Lotus differentiated their graded blocks by grinding off the "120E" that Ford stamped on the side.
