Very early 914 models had the exhaust tip pass directly through the valance while later models dipped lower so the valance was notched. Many aftermarket exhaust systems also differ slightly where the exhaust tip ends up- some even have dual exhaust! This plain version fit all applications and allows you to tailor it any way ...
