The classic Aston Martin cars all used some variation of the Smiths/Lucas fuel reserve solenoid unit on the gas tank. These are long discontinued and we have struggled by over the years rebuilding them here in the shop. We finally ran out of good used coils to operate the solenoid so after some effort we found a source to make them. These are commonly burnt out or weak and this new coil will restore proper operation along with servicing the other parts which are commonly gummed up and stuck. Pic...
