This kit is to reinforce the area around the front sway bar. The stock sway bar mount plates sandwich the inner fender material which is not a heavy gauge to begin with. This reinforcement panel significantly thickens and strengthens this area. People who have installed a larger than stock, or stock front sway bar will benefit from installing this kit.
