The steering shaft boot is mounted on the steering column shaft, against the firewall and keeps dust and engine grime from entering the cabin. Originals were made of black rubber. They were used for ’36 thru ’39 Zephyrs. This reproduction is an exact duplicate of the 1936 -‘39 boot. It is cast in black non-hardening UV urethane resin. Looks like rubber, never hardens, and has the same properties as rubber but with a longer life....
