New old stock GM part# 8623788 TH/M40 kickdown solenoid for at least 1965 thru 1975 GM cars & trucks with a Turbo Hydramatic Transmission, TH400 automatic transmission, M40 Transmission. The early books just note 'Turbo Hydramatic' then TH400 then M40 for later years. The part number changed several times adding many applications up to 1988.
